What you'll do

• Provide Level I trauma vascular surgery coverage
• perform emergency and urgent vascular procedures, including penetrating vascular trauma surgery and ruptured aortic aneurysm repair
• evaluate and manage traumatic vascular injuries
• provide 24-hour call coverage, inpatient rounds and consultations, and preoperative and postoperative care
• document care in Epic
• collaborate with trauma surgeons and hospital teams. Limited outpatient consultations and follow-up may be needed.

Why this role

Locum tenens coverage is ongoing, with approximately three to four providers initially. Board certification or eligibility within five years of residency, vascular surgery fellowship, at least two years of clinical experience, and relevant emergency vascular surgery experience are required. 24-hour pager call and anticipated callbacks of one to two per week are specified.
