What you'll do

• Negotiate carrier and broker rates and terms
• build and manage a carrier network
• monitor carrier performance
• identify load consolidation and lane optimization opportunities
• manage freight claims
• schedule inbound deliveries and dock appointments
• track loads and maintain records
• report freight and delivery KPIs
• communicate with drivers and dispatchers
• onboard carriers
• develop freight plans for new market launches
• improve scheduling, tracking, and reporting processes.
