Care/Medication Technician

Job overview

The Care/Medication Technician role is onsite in Tracy, CA, and pays $20.07 per hour. Marbella Tracy supports residents in its senior living community, providing care and lifestyle-focused services. The role provides hands-on care and physical and emotional support while helping residents maintain a safe, comfortable, home-like environment. It combines daily living assistance and resident observation with medication support, documentation, and communication of concerns to nursing staff.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transfers, and eating
• check on assigned residents and observe, report, and document changes in condition
• respond to resident call bells and security systems
• assist with meals, cleanliness, laundry, and life-enrichment activities
• review service plans
• assist with and observe medication administration using the medication observation record and Six Rights
• document doses, refusals, and missed medications
• maintain medication supplies and room
• count narcotics with a Medication Care Manager or Nurse
• record vital signs
• report resident concerns and occupational exposures.
