The manager leads analysts providing technical guidance on fluid dynamics and thermal systems for vehicle hardware and operations. The role plans and oversees analyses, develops and validates computational fluid dynamics models, and mentors engineers to help ensure systems meet fluid requirements and program milestones.

What you'll do

• Manage a fluids analysis team aligned with program milestones
• define, scope, and schedule analyses
• oversee resources and analysis progress
• perform thermal-fluid calculations
• develop computational fluid dynamics analyses for vehicle problems
• validate models and quantify uncertainty using literature and test data
• mature tools and methods for predicting fluids behavior across ascent, in-space, and reentry
• mentor engineers and guide hardware owners.
