Residential Leasing Coordinator

The Residential Leasing Coordinator is an onsite, full-time, in-office position in Durham, NC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is not specified. The role supports SVN | Real Estate Associates’ Property Management team and residential portfolio across Durham and the surrounding Triangle area. The coordinator serves as a primary contact for prospective residents and manages leasing activity from initial inquiry through application and lease preparation. The role maintains accurate listings and records, coordinates with property management and maintenance teams, and follows Fair Housing requirements and company procedures.

What you'll do

• Respond to prospective resident inquiries by phone, email, text, and online platforms
• maintain prospect information and leasing activity in AppFolio
• follow up with prospects and applicants
• maintain knowledge of properties, rates, availability, and criteria
• monitor rental listings
• coordinate applications and required information
• work with the Residential Property Manager on review, approval, and lease preparation
• monitor leasing activity and prospect feedback
• coordinate property readiness with management, maintenance, and turnover staff
• maintain records and follow Fair Housing requirements.
