The Warehouse Utility Associate I role is onsite in West Sacramento, CA. Compensation is $18–$21 per hour, with starting pay of $18 per hour. PLA provides pallet management, third-party logistics, reverse logistics, and freight brokerage and transportation management services. The associate is cross-trained to support multiple warehouse areas through material sorting, equipment operation, inspection, and facility upkeep. The role helps maintain quality, safety, and daily operational flow across warehouse and dock activities.

What you'll do

• Sort pallets, RPCs, boxes, and other materials by hand or with machine assistance
• operate the cardboard baler and coordinate bale removal
• ensure quality pallet painting
• sweep warehouse and dock areas
• inspect sorted items against criteria and production rates
• sort and process items by vendor
• follow safety and company policies
• support team operations and may be cross-trained in forklift operation and facility maintenance.
