Field Technician, Printer and Restaurant Technology

The Field Technician role is onsite in Norwood, MA, with support provided onsite and remotely, and pays $18.00–$24.00 per hour. Compucom Staffing provides IT staffing services and employee relationship support during engagements. The technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs printers, point-of-sale systems, kiosks, computers, and related technology. What you'll do

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade supported equipment and applications
• perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• provide technical support and communicate resolutions
• document service activities and repairs
• install and support restaurant technology
• order and replace parts
• perform light contractor work including drilling, mounting, cabling, and installation
• train users
• recommend solutions
• manage multiple service calls
• participate in evening support and on-call rotations as required.
