What you'll do

• Collect and document medical and social histories
• provide emergency care and respond to code alerts
• triage and treat patients
• document examinations, diagnoses, and treatment
• use the electronic medical record for orders and records
• provide medical control for ambulances
• perform emergency procedures within facility capacity
• respond to mass-casualty situations
• prescribe medications as permitted
• coordinate referrals and evacuation
• interpret radiographs and electrocardiograms
• follow up on laboratory and radiology results
• participate in teaching and required professional activities.
