The Floating Assistant Maintenance Manager role is onsite at the Cosmopolitan community in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Compensation is $21–$26 per hour. The work helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable place for residents, including responding to service calls and completing preventive maintenance.

What you'll do

• Assume managerial, supervisory, coordination, and administrative duties in the Service Manager’s absence
• perform and supervise mechanical and construction-related work including HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, tile, carpentry, welding, and electrical repairs
• respond promptly to service calls
• perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and lawn-care equipment
• supervise and participate in property maintenance and repairs. Occasional functions include fence mending, key cutting, trash pickup, lawn care, pool cleaning, and carpet shampooing.
