The Civil Craftsman — Concrete, Rodbusting, and Form Carpentry is an onsite role in Baton Rouge, LA. Pay is $32–$34 per hour. Moore Industries is an industrial contractor providing civil, industrial building, HVAC, and facility maintenance services. The craftsman performs concrete finishing, form carpentry, and reinforcing steel work to support construction projects. The role follows project specifications and blueprints, helps direct concrete placement and labor as needed, and performs general labor duties when required.

What you'll do

• Spread, level, and finish concrete
• monitor environmental effects on concrete
• direct concrete casting and laborers as needed
• create specified surface finishes and joints
• build and install forms to blueprint specifications
• position and secure reinforcing bars, rods, cables, or mesh
• perform general labor duties as needed.
