The Senior Corporate Counsel – Commercial Transactions role is hybrid in San Francisco, CA, with a base salary range of $164,000–$276,100 per year; the role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and benefits. PagerDuty’s Commercial Legal team advises its go-to-market teams on commercial transactions. The counsel drafts and negotiates agreements and helps improve contracting processes and workflows. The role supports revenue efforts while balancing legal and business risks across SaaS, AI-enabled products, and customer and partner relationships.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with customers and partners for SaaS offerings, including products with machine learning and generative AI features
• develop contract templates, processes, playbooks, and automation as needed
• advise sales, services, and channel partner teams
• communicate complex matters and practical solutions
• coordinate with finance, sales operations, security, product, support, and privacy teams on contractual terms.
