Lead React Developer

Job overview

The Lead React Developer role is onsite in Andover, MA. Compensation is $50–$65 per hour. The role supports development of a new platform and an internal engagement portal for company business units. The technical lead guides frontend architecture and hands-on development while setting engineering practices and mentoring engineers. The work contributes to secure, scalable, accessible, high-performing enterprise applications and coordinates delivery across product, UX, architecture, backend, and DevOps teams.

What you'll do

• Lead frontend architecture and development using ReactJS and TypeScript
• define engineering standards, reusable patterns, code quality practices, and technical guardrails
• partner with UX designers on responsive and accessible experiences
• integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
• support CI/CD, automated testing, observability, performance, security, and production reliability
• resolve complex technical issues and manage technical debt
• mentor engineers through coaching, architecture reviews, and code reviews
• collaborate with global teams.

Why this role
