What you'll do

• Prepare cost estimates, construction budgets, and schedules
• inspect worksites
• determine material, subcontractor, and labor requirements
• participate in pre-construction meetings
• coordinate and direct onsite employees, subcontractors, tradespeople, and vendors
• buy out jobs within the stated budget authority and assist with larger jobs
• ensure work is completed on schedule and budget
• review invoices and timesheets
• travel to remote markets
• identify and select local subcontractors and vendors.
