Dietary Aide

What you'll do

• Work with the cook on menu changes and planning regular and special diets as prescribed by physicians
• ensure food is available for preparation
• recognize and respond to dietary emergencies and document outcomes
• assist with food preparation
• serve meals according to menus, portion controls, therapeutic diets, and sanitary regulations
• inspect diet trays
• maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, supplies, and equipment
• report equipment or supply issues.
