Job overview

The Life Skills Coach role is part-time and field-based, covering the Marina area and nearby communities including Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel Valley, Pacific Grove, and Seaside, CA. Pay is $22 per hour. Spread Your Wings’ ILS Services supports people with developmental disabilities in building independence and confidence. The coach works one-on-one with clients to develop daily living skills and pursue individualized goals. Field-based support, progress documentation, and collaboration with program managers and regional center coordinators contribute to clients’ independence and ongoing support.

What you'll do

• Coach clients in cooking, budgeting, and hygiene
• encourage and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges
• plan weekly goals and schedules
• document progress through case notes and quarterly reports
• collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff.
