Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager position is onsite in Forrest City, Arkansas. Pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour. The role supports day-to-day operations at a GPM Investments convenience store. The assistant manager helps lead staff, serve customers, maintain inventory and merchandising, manage schedules and cash handling, and keep the store clean and stocked. The role supports store performance and customer service across shifts, including the stated expectation of weekend, holiday, and primarily second- or third-shift availability.

What you'll do

• Support the Store Manager with daily operations
• operate the register and assist customers
• coach team members on upselling
• help hire, train, and lead staff
• act as manager when the Store Manager is off
• handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• maintain store and exterior cleanliness
• create schedules
• handle cash, deposits, and store financials.
