The Controller is an onsite position based in Lakewood, NJ. The salary range is $200,000–$225,000 per year. This role supports the finance department at a growing commercial real estate company through Mai Placement. The role exists to lead and elevate accounting and finance operations. The controller manages the accounting team, strengthens internal controls, drives process improvements, and ensures financial reporting meets the standards required by lenders, auditors, and ownership.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across a portfolio of commercial real estate assets.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with ownership and CFO.
