• evaluate supplier quality, reliability, and delivery capability
• coordinate requests for proposals and quotes
• maintain procurement files
• apply FAR and DFARS requirements
• reconcile received purchase orders
• communicate with vendors
• track purchase-order acceptance and due dates.
