Activities Assistant and Driver

The Activities Assistant and Driver role is onsite in Exeter, NH. Compensation is $18–$23 per hour. The position supports residents at Langdon Place of Exeter through recreational activities and transportation to community outings and appointments. The role plans and leads activities that encourage resident participation and social engagement, while also providing safe minibus transportation. By coordinating activities with staff and residents’ care plans, the position contributes to residents’ daily experience and community access.

What you'll do

• Plan and lead recreational and therapeutic activities
• facilitate group programs, one-on-one visits, games, crafts, music, and social events
• encourage resident participation
• document attendance and feedback on a tablet
• collaborate with staff to align activities with care plans
• operate a 14-passenger minibus for scheduled outings and appointments
• assist residents boarding and exiting
• conduct basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.

Why this role

No commercial driver’s license is required; schedule includes Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and every other weekend; 32-hour schedule is negotiable but Tuesday/Thursday and every-other-weekend availability is required.
