What you'll do

• Collaborate with engineers and the CAD technician to improve tooling designs
• use Mastercam to generate G-code
• design or select work-holding devices
• maintain the tool library
• select tooling and calculate speeds and feeds
• interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings
• set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machines
• inspect work in process
• maintain a clean and safe workspace
• pursue continuing education
• mentor the Tooling Center Machinist.
