The OMT Mechanic, Power Plant Maintenance role is onsite in Berwick, PA; compensation is not specified. The role exists to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment so the facility can operate safely and reliably. Equipment inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, work-order documentation, and coordination with contractors support plant operations and equipment availability.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment malfunctions
• perform pump alignments, overhauls, calibration, and welding as required
• install equipment
• conduct preventive and corrective maintenance
• read meters and gauges
• inspect equipment for faults
• use operating procedures and technical manuals
• enter and close work orders in the computerized maintenance management system
• document spare-parts use
• support capital projects as assigned
• follow facility safety procedures
• assist with warehouse management.
