Activities Assistant, Assisted Living and Memory Care

The Activities Assistant role is onsite in Streator, IL. Compensation is $15–$17.50 per hour. Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care operate assisted living and memory care communities where older adults can participate and thrive. The assistant leads and supports recreational programs that encourage resident engagement and connection. The role helps residents learn about activities, welcomes new residents, supports community events, and maintains activity records and schedules.

What you'll do

• Lead assigned activity programs
• offer varied recreational activities with appropriate supervision
• develop programs for residents, including those confined to their rooms when applicable
• encourage participation
• inform residents of upcoming activities and maintain event schedules
• welcome and include new residents
• assist with parties, seasonal decorations, and monthly birthday celebrations
• support census-building initiatives
• maintain activity and participation records
• may drive a company vehicle if required by the community.
