The role supports GPW Health Center’s financial operations and mission through sound financial management and strategic guidance. The Controller directs accounting, reporting, budgeting, grant compliance, revenue-cycle oversight, internal controls, and audit coordination. The role ensures accurate financial records and regulatory compliance while providing financial information and guidance to organizational leadership.

What you'll do

• Direct accounting operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, cash management, and fixed assets
• prepare financial statements and management reports
• monitor cash flow
• develop internal controls
• oversee planning, forecasting, and budgeting
• ensure HRSA, Uniform Guidance, and grant compliance
• monitor grant funding and prepare UDS financial reporting components
• coordinate Single Audits and external audits
• collaborate on revenue-cycle performance
• supervise and mentor finance staff as applicable.

Why this role

The posting requires a bachelor’s degree, seven years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, three years in a leadership role, federal grants and Single Audit experience, and Sage Intacct experience. CPA designation is strongly preferred.
