Quality Inspector (EI&C)

The Quality Inspector (EI&C) is an onsite role based in Washington, DC, with compensation ranging from $49 to $58 per hour. This position supports the MasTec Industrial team, which specializes in EPC services for the power industry, including utility and industrial facilities. The role exists to conduct and document inspections in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). The inspector ensures all reports are accurate, legible, and traceable to field locations, while fostering positive relationships with project stakeholders to facilitate quality objectives.

What you'll do

• Conduct and document inspections per ITPs
• review subcontractor submittals and quality manuals
• maintain QA/QC meeting minutes and deficiency logs
• identify errors in construction plans
• prepare inspection reports
• coordinate with 3rd party testing agencies
• ensure compliance with NEC, ICC, and NETA codes.
