Fence Estimator

Job overview

The Fence Estimator role is based in an office in Kent, Ohio, with outdoor site visits when required. Compensation is $75,000–$85,000 per year. SAGE Fence provides security fencing for enterprise clients across the country. The estimator supports the sales process by assessing sites, preparing material and labor estimates, and developing scopes of work for fence installation proposals. Accurate takeoffs and coordination with sales, project management, vendors, and field teams help prepare projects for proposal and handoff.

What you'll do

• Survey sites for terrain, measurements, access, obstructions, and installation requirements
• recommend fence types, materials, and configurations
• estimate materials, labor, equipment, and timelines
• prepare scopes of work and installation methods
• interpret blueprints and site plans
• support proposals and client presentations
• maintain vendor and distributor relationships
• provide project documentation for handoff.
