The Production Associate — 3D Printing and Assembly role is a full-time, onsite position at Aventra’s headquarters in Herndon, VA, paying $19–$30 per hour. Aventra Defense Systems engineers and provides autonomous aerial platforms for the U.S. government and allied interests. The associate operates 3D printers and assembles precision components and autonomous aircraft systems. The role supports production quality and engineering work by inspecting assemblies, documenting issues, and helping investigate defects and test failures.

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain multiple 3D printers
• build assemblies and subassemblies, including electromechanical assemblies
• assemble aerial vehicle components and autonomous aircraft systems
• inspect work during and after production
• assist engineers with defect and test-failure investigations
• provide feedback on assembly issues
• maintain a clean and safe work area.

Why this role

No degree is required. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. citizenship verification for access to ITAR-controlled hardware and technical data. Schedule is eight-hour shifts within Monday–Friday warehouse hours of 7 a.m.–7 p.m.; overtime may be available with supervisor approval.
