Job overview

The Cashier role is onsite in Washington, DC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay is $20–$22 per hour. Seasons Culinary provides contract food services to clients in the Washington, DC metro area. The cashier handles accurate sales and payment transactions while supporting a clean, welcoming cafe service area. The role also helps maintain cash controls, replenish supplies, and meet sanitation and service standards.

What you'll do

• Process sales transactions and enter purchases accurately
• make change, accept approved payment methods, and issue receipts
• follow cash refund procedures
• assist customers and resolve complaints
• safeguard assigned change funds and cash receipts
• replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies
• stock the pastry case
• maintain clean service areas
• follow service, inventory, cash-control, sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
