The Social Worker | IDE-PR Program role is an onsite, part-time hourly position serving Arecibo and Luis Llorens Torres, Puerto Rico. Pay is $22.50 per hour. The role supports the Boys & Girls Club IDE-PR program within its Social Pillar. The social worker provides case management and socioemotional support to children and, at times, adolescents in school and Club settings. The role contributes to participant well-being through workshops, individualized support plans, family engagement, and coordination with schools and community partners.

What you'll do

• Provide case management and follow-up for children and occasionally adolescents
• visit assigned schools and maintain a presence at Clubs
• deliver socioemotional workshops on emotional regulation, self-esteem, social skills, substance-use awareness, and behavioral management
• interview children and families as needed
• maintain complete physical case files
• develop support plans for at-risk children
• handle cases involving domestic violence and coordinate referrals
• collaborate with families, schools, external partners, and Club professionals
• coordinate educational, cultural, and socioemotional activities
• communicate with the Unit Director and Program Coordinator
• participate in community initiatives and agency collaborations.
