Live-In Caregiver

The Live-In Caregiver works onsite in a client’s home in Jacksonville, Florida. Compensation is $17 per hour. Dovida’s Circle of Care focuses on compassionate, respectful support and meaningful human connection. The caregiver provides daily assistance and companionship to help the client maintain comfort, safety, and independence at home. The role follows an individualized care plan, communicates relevant updates to the care team and family, and includes daytime caregiving with an overnight presence that is not continuous hands-on care.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living
• prepare meals and encourage hydration
• perform client-related light housekeeping and laundry
• provide companionship and participate in daily activities
• offer medication reminders as directed
• follow the care plan and report changes
• maintain a safe, clean home environment
• communicate updates to the care team and family.
