Generator Technician — Commercial Backup Generators

The Generator Technician role is onsite in Potsdam, NY, with a stated base pay range of $30–$40 per hour. Pearce provides maintenance, repair, operations, and engineering services for critical power and other electromechanical infrastructure. This technician services and repairs commercial generators at cell phone towers, helping keep backup power systems ready and operational. The work includes maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, performance checks, and safety practices.

What you'll do

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial generators
• install or replace components and systems
• perform performance checks and routine maintenance
• install and test fuel and water lines, pumps, wiring, and controls
• respond promptly to power and generator alarms
• follow safety practices and participate in designated safety and training meetings.
