Central Scheduling Representative

The representative registers patients and coordinates appointments by phone, helping patients reach the appropriate physician and office while supporting timely access to care across the practices’ locations.

What you'll do

• Screen patients for urgency and schedule appointments within appropriate timeframes
• interview patients and enter information into the patient management system
• coordinate appointments for 19 physicians across 16 Pennsylvania and New Jersey offices
• verify insurance acceptance and explain referral, authorization, and copay requirements
• confirm appointments and respond to inquiries
• protect confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations
• assist other departments as needed.
