Quality Control Analyst

Job overview

The Quality Control Analyst works onsite in Orangeburg, NY, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Compensation is $21–$23 per hour. The role supports laboratory quality control work through testing and documentation under established quality standards and GMP requirements. The analyst performs manual and automated assays, evaluates results against specifications, and maintains records and laboratory equipment. The work helps monitor product quality, stability, and compliance across raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

What you'll do

• Analyze clinical chemistry, critical care, coagulation, and microbiology controls and reagents
• perform manual and automated assays
• assess results against specifications
• document work under GMP requirements
• conduct stability, proficiency, environmental, water-system, and microbial testing
• maintain and calibrate equipment
• update SOPs and QC monographs as directed
• manage supplies, storage, retain samples, and process-control reports
• dispose of hazardous materials.
