General Service Technician

Job overview

The General Service Technician role is onsite in Fremont, CA, with compensation of $20–$23 per hour. The technician works in Midas Auto Service Experts’ full-service repair shop. The role performs routine maintenance, tire and alignment work, inspections, and related services while assisting experienced technicians. Accurate service documentation and a clean, safe work area support the shop’s vehicle service and repair operations.

What you'll do

• Perform oil changes, preventive maintenance, fluid exchanges, and filter replacements
• conduct vehicle safety and courtesy inspections
• mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
• perform four-wheel alignments and inspections
• test and replace batteries and other maintenance items
• document services and findings
• assist experienced technicians
• maintain a clean, organized, safe work area and follow company standards.
