Job overview
The DevOps Intern role is onsite at the company headquarters in Overland Park, KS, from May 25 through August 6, 2027; pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour. The intern supports Choice Solutions’ DevOps team and its infrastructure and operational projects. The internship provides hands-on support for automation, infrastructure improvements, and customer systems while contributing to a summer project tied to business needs. The intern will work with engineers and managed services teams and present the completed project at the end of the internship.
What you'll do
- Work on a project involving engineers and tools such as Zabbix, GitLab, and ControlUp
- assist with maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure, servers, and development environments
- help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- support deployment troubleshooting and improve automation, monitoring, and infrastructure documentation
- assist managed services teams with customer hardware, software, applications, and systems
- interact with security, systems, networking, and higher-tier support teams.
