What you'll do

• Greet patients, family members, and visitors
• assist new patients with registration and medical-record forms
• review insurance coverage and sliding-scale eligibility documentation
• collect and enter patient, financial, diagnosis, procedure, and payment information
• notify medical assistants when patients arrive
• review charges and balances, arrange payments, issue receipts, and schedule return appointments
• answer and direct calls
• maintain patient charts.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a related vocational program, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus two to five years of specified healthcare trade experience. CPR/First Aid training is required; training is available upon hire. Must drive between GBMS locations as required.
