The Automotive “C” Technician / Mechanic role is onsite in San Jose, CA. The technician maintains Flexcar fleet vehicles, supporting its flexible month-to-month vehicle leasing service. The role performs routine mechanical and light cosmetic repairs so fleet vehicles can be maintained in accordance with company procedures. It contributes through preventive maintenance, inspections, accurate repair documentation, and safe, organized shop practices.

What you'll do

• Perform routine maintenance including oil and tire changes, tire rotations, battery and filter replacements, light bulb and wiper replacements
• conduct mechanical inspections
• identify, order, and maintain supplies and parts
• use tools, chemicals, and shop equipment
• follow standard operating procedures and 5S standards
• review work orders
• use technology systems
• assist with onboarding and knowledge-sharing
• complete timekeeping and repair documentation
• meet established cycle times
• comply with Cal/OSHA and environmental regulations
• safeguard vehicles, company property, and customer information.
