Toddler Assistant Teacher

The Toddler Assistant Teacher role is onsite in Cedar Park, TX. Compensation is $15–$17 per hour. Jupiter House Preschool provides early childhood education through a Reggio-inspired, STEM-infused approach incorporating Montessori principles. The assistant teacher supports the lead teacher and helps create a safe, engaging classroom where toddlers develop language, motor, social, and self-help skills. The role assists with lessons, routines, supervision, caregiving, family communication, and accurate daily records.

What you'll do

• Assist the lead teacher with lesson plans and classroom activities
• prepare learning centers, art, and sensory activities
• support group activities and transitions
• supervise children and monitor safety
• assist with diapering, potty training, meals, snacks, naps, and hygiene
• support social-emotional development
• maintain daily records
• communicate with families and collaborate with the teaching team.
