The Program Director is an onsite role based in Seaside, CA, with a salary range of $131,300 to $237,350 per year. This position supports the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) and Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel & Readiness. The role exists to provide operational leadership for enterprise cyber defense. By managing continuous monitoring, incident response, and team development, the director ensures the protection of critical DoD personnel and readiness data systems.

What you'll do

• Provide overall leadership and operational management of the SOC
• lead and mentor cybersecurity professionals
• direct enterprise cyber incident response
• serve as primary operational interface with Government leadership
• develop and improve SOC standard operating procedures
• establish operational priorities and performance metrics
• coordinate cyber defense activities
• oversee continuous monitoring of networks and cloud environments
• ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies
• support DPM duties including staffing and risk management.
