Program Aide, Saturday and Sunday Overnight

The Program Aide role is onsite in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA, and pays $19–$22 per hour. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Joyous Ventures’ Social Services Team supports people and families experiencing homelessness or crisis through interim housing and connections to services. The aide helps maintain a safe, respectful residential environment and supports participants’ daily needs and progress toward stability. The role works alongside behavioral health and case management teams through monitoring, participant engagement, safety checks, and timely documentation.

What you'll do

• Welcome and orient participants
• assist with transitions and room changes
• monitor common areas and sleeping quarters
• provide basic guidance and emotional support within professional boundaries
• encourage participation in chores and services
• enforce program policies
• conduct hourly wellness and safety checks
• report incidents and risks
• respond to medical emergencies and administer First Aid/CPR under established protocols
• document shifts
• perform light housekeeping and support inventory and room inspections.
