What you'll do

• Assess and triage ED patients by acuity
• initiate emergency interventions within protocols and scope of practice
• develop care plans with the clinical team
• document care in Meditech
• mentor and precept ED staff
• participate in quality and patient-safety initiatives
• educate patients and families
• provide accurate handoffs
• maintain regulatory and hospital-policy compliance
• and respond to codes, rapid responses, and disaster events. Current MICN certification, California RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required
• TNCC is required or must be obtained within six months.
