Instructional Designer

The Instructional Designer role is onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation is not specified. The role partners with Ezee Fiber’s business leaders, subject matter experts, and Learning and Development team to create learning solutions supporting its customer and community service goals. The role exists to identify performance needs and develop, deliver, and refine blended learning experiences that support measurable outcomes. It owns the instructional design process from scoping through content development and delivery.

What you'll do

• Consult with stakeholders to assess learning needs and define performance objectives
• design and develop instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, and performance-support programs
• apply adult learning theory, instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM, and UX principles
• create storyboards, facilitator guides, participant materials, and assessments
• build interactive eLearning with authoring tools
• coordinate publishing and tracking with LMS administrators
• evaluate effectiveness using data and feedback
• manage competing priorities and deadlines.
