The Emergency Medical Technician — College Park role is onsite in College Park, MD. Pay is $18–$30 per hour. The EMT supports the Butler Medical Transport/Best Care Ambulance emergency medical services team and provides patient transport for the communities it serves. The role responds to emergency and non-emergency transports, assesses patients, provides basic life support within EMT scope, and transports patients to medical facilities. It also supports crew safety, vehicle readiness, accurate patient reports, and effective communication with patients and care partners.

What you'll do

• Provide patient care within EMT scope of practice
• transport patients and crew safely
• respond to emergency and non-emergency transports
• communicate with patients, dispatch, crews, families, and facility staff
• complete patient contact reports
• maintain vehicles and equipment
• keep the station clean
• maintain certifications and current knowledge of state protocols
• represent the service at assigned community events.
