Assistant Teacher

Job overview

The Assistant Teacher works onsite in Cincinnati, OH, for $13–$16 per hour. The role supports the learning center’s classroom team in creating a safe, nurturing environment for young learners. Working with the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher helps implement lessons, supports students during individual and group activities, supervises children through daily transitions and activities, and documents student progress. This work helps children grow academically, socially, and emotionally while supporting classroom operations.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with curriculum activities and lesson plans
• provide individualized support during group and independent learning
• maintain a clean, organized, safe classroom
• supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and field trips
• observe and document student progress, behavior, and social development.
