Activity Director

The Activity Director role is onsite in Conway, SC. Pay is $15–$18 per hour. Compass Post Acute Rehabilitation provides care for patients and aims to create a supportive environment for residents and employees. The director plans activities that connect residents with the community, staff, and families and supports individual and group leisure pursuits. The role encourages resident participation and self-determination and helps residents organize and conduct Resident Council meetings.

What you'll do

• Plan community activities involving the community, staff, families, and residents
• provide opportunities and support for group and individual leisure pursuits based on residents’ interests and needs
• invite and encourage resident participation
• support residents’ right to self-determination and document refusals of offered activity services
• assist residents in organizing and implementing Resident Council meetings.

Why this role

Activity Director certification or license is required. Experience as an Activities Director in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care is preferred.
