This technician supports production by preparing materials, assisting with component fabrication and alignment, handling materials, and maintaining safe, orderly work areas. The position is an entry point for learning multiple trades in a manufacturing setting.

What you'll do

• Maintain office, shop, and warehouse cleanliness
• run shop errands to pick up and drop off orders
• cut, screw, and sand parts and subassemblies
• develop templates and work aids to align parts
• operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts
• read specifications and shop drawings
• use calipers and micrometers
• provide feedback for continuous improvement
• follow safety and health procedures.
