French Teacher, Middle School (Long-Term Substitute)

The French Teacher, Middle School (Long-Term Substitute) assignment is onsite in Kansas City, MO, from November 16, 2026, through January 4, 2027. Collaboration with department staff and use of educational technology help maintain instruction and student learning during the long-term assignment.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree, a Missouri teaching license, native or near-native French fluency, experience teaching multiple French levels, and Missouri residency. A master’s degree and three or more years of French teaching experience are preferred; familiarity with ACTFL standards and proficiencies is also preferred.
