The Pharmacist – Hospital Acute Care role is onsite in Grants, NM, at Cibola General Hospital. The annual salary is $135,000–$168,000, and the schedule is 40 hours per week with varying shifts. The role supports the hospital’s Pharmacy Department and its acute-care patient services. The pharmacist provides safe medication dispensing and clinical pharmacy services, monitors drug therapy, and collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support medication safety and effective patient care. The pharmacist may assume Pharmacy Director responsibilities when the director is unavailable.

What you'll do

• Prepare, verify, label, compound, and dispense medications, IV solutions, and parenteral medications
• monitor drug therapies for safety, effectiveness, and appropriateness
• provide medication information and education
• maintain inventory, records, and regulatory compliance
• supervise pharmacy technicians and technical personnel
• support formulary management and automated dispensing changes
• participate in Rapid Response Teams and Code Blue situations as required
• complete competency evaluations and continuing education
• follow hospital policies, professional standards, and pharmacy laws.
