What you'll do
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized treatment plans
- collect and document health information and diagnostic results
- provide direct and indirect nursing care during routine and emergency situations
- administer ordered medications and treatments and document outcomes
- monitor medication administration and controlled substances
- provide patient education
- delegate care based on skills and knowledge
- maintain clinical knowledge and professional boundaries
- participate in quality improvement
- comply with facility policies, laws, regulations, and HIPAA
- coordinate with security staff
- maintain confidentiality and patient dignity
- follow institutional safety and security rules.
