Parent Educator

The Parent Educator role is onsite in Saint Louis, Missouri, with home and community services for an assigned caseload. Pay is $23 per hour. Through family services, child-focused programming, coordination, and person-centered support, the role helps families address parenting needs and connect with community resources.

What you'll do

• Provide home and community services to an assigned caseload of 9–11 parents and their children
• develop and implement lesson and program plans
• assist with Individual Family Service Plans
• support parent-child outings and serve as a positive role model
• coordinate children’s medical and dental appointments
• respond to family parenting needs
• assist with emergency medical decisions
• support parents in crisis and non-crisis situations
• participate in support plan meetings and school-related conferences
• maintain records and reports
• coordinate with service providers to identify family resources.
