The Dental Assistant role is an onsite, full-time position in Norwich, CT, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $21.50–$23 per hour. UCFS Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Health Center focused on person-centered, integrated care for its community. The assistant supports dentists in direct patient care and helps the dental clinic operate efficiently. Clinical assistance, sterilization, imaging, scheduling, and supply coordination contribute to accessible, coordinated dental services.

What you'll do

• Assist dentists with procedures using four-handed dentistry
• expose digital radiographs, scan for digital impressions, and pour models
• sterilize and disinfect according to OSHA standards
• track laboratory work and maintain operatory supplies
• return patient calls, phone in prescriptions, and schedule appointments with Dental Director approval
• participate in meetings and continuing education
• support safety programs and routine clinic operations.
